United Mechanical installed the mechanical, plumbing, and building controls in a Design-Assist effort for the Kaiser Scotts Valley Service Expansion project. This 32,000 square foot building includes Medical Offices, Urgent Care Facilities, and a Pharmacy.
Upgrades to this existing building included the relocation of the first floor pharmacy and improvements to the medical offices on the first and second floors. The first floor was remodeled to accommodate the pharmacy relocation and build out of new urgent care facilities while keeping the existing internal department online. The second floor work consisted of rework of mechanical infrastructure to support additional programming. Due to the building’s continued occupancy throughout the construction phase, demolition and installation was completed in multiple phases. Building upgrades included new domestic heating hot water and domestic cold water to the new patient spaces. It also included a new AC unit and Furnace installed and tied into the existing dual duct system
